QUALIFICATIONS YILPORT Holding is a privately held, wholly owned subsidiary of YILDIRIM Group, one of the fastest growing Turkish industrial groups with its ports located in Turkey as well as in the world. The company has ambitions to become one of the top 10 global container terminal operators and it has recently become the largest terminal operator in Turkey in terms of number of ports operated and overall capacity.

We are looking for a  Compensation & Benefits Manager to be based in YILPORT Holding Gebze Terminal.
  • University graduate with Industrial Engineering or Business Administration degree,
  • Fluency in English is required. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus,
  • Excellent stakeholder management with legal authorities,
  • At least 7 years of experience in payroll processing and C&B administration,
  • Very good knowledge of labor law. Union relations knowledge is preferable,
  • Experience in HAY grading and salary structure methodologies,
  • Experience in budgeting,
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications (especially in Excel) and capable of using HR Information Systems. Solid knowledge of SAP is an asset,
  • Experience in expatriate administration is a plus,
  • Excellent problem solving, attention to details and analytical skills,
  • Strong communication and leadership skills,
  • No military obligation for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION Being a part of the Center of Excellence Team,  Compensation & Benefits Manager will be responsible in developing and sustaining YILPORT Holding’s salary and C&B administration process to be applicable in both domestic and international ports.
  • Carry out an effective compensation & benefits administration service in line with Yılport Holding policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure that employee records and HR related reports (such as overtime and absenteeism) are up to date and reported periodically.
  • In coordination with HR and C&B Directors, drive and lead annual salary increase and bonus guideline process with Function Heads.
  • Manage salary structure updating process with grading principle and make sure that the competencies of each role truly fits into the related grade.
  • Propose, design, and drive corporate benefits programs, policies, and procedures,
  • Monitor Payroll process and make sure that the salaries are correctly paid on the due dates.
  • Participate salary surveys and regularly benchmark salary and benefits market level in domestic and international arena.
  • Manage expatriate’s employment contracts, salary, benefits and relocation process.
  • In coordination with HR Business Partners located at each port, make sure that necessary guidance is provided when required.
