Duties and Responsibilities
Understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
In addition to acquire new business, also accompany sales team on sales calls to potential customers.
Targeting key accounts potential for the hotel.
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, fairs, etc.
Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for customers.
Required Skills Excellent level of written and verbal communication in English. At least 5 years experience in the tourism sales or related professional area. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory / managerial experience. Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Tourism Administration, Hospitality, Hotel Management, or MBA. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Must be flexible in working hours.
